Q: Is Entity Holdings CSI Foundation a registered non-profit company?

Yes, we are a registered NPC (Non-Profit Company) under South African law and compliant with all governance standards.

Q: What does CSI stand for?

CSI stands for Corporate Social Investment - a way for private sector organisations like Entity Holdings to give back in a sturctured and imactful way.

 

Donations

 

Q: Is my donation tax - deductible?

Yes, all qualifying donations from South African taxpayers are eligible for Section 18A certificates.

Q: Can I choose a program to support

Yes, on the donation form, you can select Education, Health, Church Support or Sport. If unspecified, your funds will be used where the need is the greatest.

: How do I know where my money is going?

We will provide quarterly impact updates and annual reports - major donors will receive custom reporting on project outcomes, in addition.

Q: Do you accept donations from outside South Africa?

Yes. The foreign donations can be accepted and managed in line with the applicable financial regulatory framework governing such donations, both in South Africa and the donating country.

Q: Will I receive a tax receipt for international donation?

Yes. While international donations may not qualify for South African tax deductions, you will receive a donation receipt for your records. Tax deductibility depends on your country's laws.

Q: Are there additional fees tor foreign donations?

Currency conversion fees and international transaction charges may apply, depending on your bank or payment provider. We aim to minimise these costs through secure, low-fee payment platforms.

Q: Can I donate via bank transfer from abroad?

Yes. Please contact us at donate@entityholdingscsi.co.za for SWIFT code, banking details, and donation reference instructions.

 

Volunteering & Partnerships

 

Q: How can I get involved as a volunteer or partner?

Click on "Join Us" and fill out the application form. Our team will follow up to match your skill to an appropriate program.

Q: Do volunteers receive any compensation?

In certain programs, (eg. health), we provide stipend and accomodation. Most volunteers serve on a pro -bono basis.

Q: Can churches apply to partner with the Cornerstone initiative?

Yes. We welcome applications from faith-based organisations that align with our mission and meet our accountability standards.

 

Programs

Q: How are students selected for the no cost education program?

Children are referred by schools that can no longer keep them due to financial hardship. Admission is based on academic merit and verification of financial need.

Q: Where are your health services available?

We are currently piloting our health outreach in rural areas across Limpopo and Mpumalanga with expansion plans underway for other areas.

Q : Do you accept corporate programs from other entities?

Yes. If the corporate entity value system and CSI program aligns with Entity Holdings and Entity Holdings CSI Foundation. For eligible corporates, we will collaborate at strategic and operational level not witholding financial accounting and impact reporting on their behalf.

 

Management & Governance

Q: Who oversees the Entity Holdings CSI Foundation?

The Foundation will be governed by a board of Directors comprising professionals with expertise in education, healthcare, finance, faith-based leadership, and social impact. The board ensures strategic alignment, financial integrity, and compliance.

Q: Will the board be expanding?

Yes. As the foundation grows, we intend to invite skilled individuals - both locally and internationally to serve on our board and advisory committees. The expansion will be guided by our governance charter and the evolving needs of our programs.

Q: How are the members selected?

Board members are nominated and vetted based on their alignment with our values, skills, leadership experience, and ability to contribute to our mission. All appointments are formalised through board resolutions and governance procedures.

Q:How do yo ensure ethical leadership?

We operate under a formal governance policy that includes conflict of interest declarations, fiduciary duty expectations, regular audits, and ethical conduct guidelines for all directors and staff.
